Starting anything new is a challenge and may even be a bit frightening. Biblical storytelling is like that.
People who haven't tried it sometimes tell me, "I can't tell the Bible stories because I can't remember them." To help, I created a list of 110 easily tellable Bible stories. Many are stories we ourselves have told, and others are stories we've taught to the storytellers in Asia and Africa. Without exception, these stories have been shown to be both exciting and effective. They range from the book of Genesis to Acts.
Seventy-five of the stories are less than 500 words, basically a story that can be told completely in five minutes or less (twenty of the stories are under 200 words). Only six are over 1,000 words.
The stories are also sorted by the order that they appear in the Bible. As you progress, you may want to tell some of the stories in sequential order, for instance stories about Bible characters like Moses or Daniel or Paul.
